, welcome to the website for Landford Parish Council.
Landford is a small, friendly village on the edge of the New Forest with approximately 500 homes within the boundaries of the parish. The vast majority of our village is in the New Forest National Park and we value and appreciate the rural nature of the area.
The parish lies at the southern tip of Wiltshire, on the boundary with Hampshire and is split in two by the A36. We benefit from easy access to Salisbury, Romsey and Southampton, via major trunk roads, as well as a local bus service.
For details of the wide range of facilities available to the local community, please visit the Village Information page.
Landford Parish Council is made up of 7 councillors who give their time freely to the community. In addition to conducting parish business, we look after the Recreation Ground, which hosts facilities for people of all ages. We are very pleased to be part of the community and parishioners and visitors are most welcome to pay us a visit. We would welcome your views and input at all levels.
Details of all of our meetings, as well as Minutes of previous meetings, can be found along with our contact details on the Landford Parish Council notice board which is situated by the post-box at the entrance to the Village Post Office. So if you know someone who wants to be kept informed about our activities, but who does not have access to the Internet, please tell them where this is.
